Since the beginning of 2013, the Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov has invested more than $ 25 million in the Harveast agricultural holding, and since 2011 more than $ 50 million. This is stated in the message of the SKM group.
As stated in the message, "as part of the Harveast Holding technology program, more than 150 units of self -propelled and trailed agricultural machinery of leading European and American manufacturers worth more than $ 25 million".
Harveast is the largest agricultural enterprise in Ukraine. As reported, the SKM group managed to organize this promising business after obtaining control over the agricultural assets of the Ilyich Mariupol Metallurgical Plant. Today, the holding’s assets are located in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Cherkasy regions and in Crimea.
“We create a universal parking equipment fleet, following the path of its unification. Updating the technical park will reduce production costs when using modern saving agricultural technologies, as well as increase yield potential,” says Artem Grishunenkov, Technical Director of Harveast Holding.
