According to the Ukrainian Metallurgical Association, Metallurgprom, in June 2013, steel production in Ukraine will grow by 1.5 percent with respect to April - up to 2 million 790 thousand tons. According to the forecast of the Association, the production of cast iron will increase by 5.8 percent - to 2 million 530 thousand tons, and the production of metal rolling will increase by 1.96 percent - to 2 million 550 thousand tons.
In May, Ukrainian metallurgical companies expect to get 2 million 750 thousand tons of steel and 2 million 520 thousand tons of cast iron, as well as 2 million 500 thousand tons of finished rental.
As reported, the production of steel on Ukrainian power plants in April amounted to 2 million 700 thousand tons, the production of metal rolling - 2 million 525 thousand tons, including the production of steel pipes - 170 thousand tons.
