The most modern metallurgical enterprise in Ukraine last year received 265 million UAH losses

In 2012, the Donetsk electrometallurgical plant received 265 million 597 thousand UAH pure loss. This is stated in the message of DEMZ. The income of the enterprise last year decreased half - to 2 billion 727 million UAH.

Recall that in 2011, the Donetsk electrometallurgical plant also declared 166 million 101 thousand UAH losses, increasing net income by 73.51 percent - to 5 billion 394 million UAH.

Donetsk Electrometallurgical Plant JSC is one of the most modern metallurgical enterprises in Ukraine with a capacity of more than 1 million tons of liquid steel per year, built on the principle of a mini-indentation with an incomplete metallurgical cycle.

The production uses an environmentally friendly technology for smelting, extraid processing and spilling steel. The main equipment is an arc steeling stove with a modern gas cleaning, a vacuumer, an installation of a “stove”, a continuous casting machine for the production of the Italian company Danieli, as well as the rolling mill 950/900, the correct machines and pertressing machines, thermal equipment for the production of a thermal processed rental.

DEMZ (until 2009 - MMZ “Pravil (Ukraine)” was created in 1999 on the basis of an electrostal -frail, composite and cooperative workshops of the Donetsk Metallurgical Plant as a result of its restructuring. In 2008, the plant was acquired by the Russian group “Estar”, the name “Tsil (Ukraine)” changed to the Donetsk Electrometallurgical Plant.
