Ukraine is able to produce cokes of higher quality

The authors of the study "Resource -saving technologies of metallurgical production based on the use of Ukrainian coal", dedicated to obtaining better coke for the installations of dust -angle fuel blowing (PUT), were awarded the State Prize of Ukraine. This was reported by the press center of the group Metinvest.

"To introduce the Put technology at all Ukrainian enterprises, it is necessary to improve the quality of coke. The resources of the raw materials necessary for this technology are in Ukraine, but they are insufficient. It is necessary to develop low -gray coal mining to produce high -quality coke - then we can use the Put to achieve great economic effects. This is what we tried to show in our work," said the Director for the procurement and logistics of the Metinvest Group Vladimir Gusak is one of the authors of the study.

Put technology can allow the metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine to abandon expensive natural gas and get saving and $ 50 at each ton of steel. In addition, the replacement of gas with Cox will reduce its consumption by 3 billion cubic meters per year. Note that the higher the quality of the coal, the higher the efficiency for heating water and heating.

The introduction of a Put on Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises actively counteracts the gas lobby of Ukraine, which has recently plunged through the Cabinet of Ministers, a resolution on quotas for the import of high -quality coke that can be used in the installations of the Put.
