This will not cause a disaster of the recent collapse of the supermarket in Bangladesh, however, experts of the Canadian metallurgical sector claim that the low quality of imported steel can lead to safety problems and additional costs.

This anxiety is fueled by two interconnected issues: firstly, the slow-down market in Canada and secondly excessive metallurgical capacities in Asia and some other regions have entailed “dumping and state subsidies that allow exporters to conduct unscrupulous competition in North America,” writes Daily Commercial News.

For permanent consumers of the metal rolling in the construction sector, the market fall makes it possible to relax from high and unpredictable prices, such as five years ago during the peak of consumption in 2007 when steel costs grew almost daily.

Nevertheless, consumers of the metal rolling should be careful not to lose their money, says Mr. Tarik Tarik Ali, Marketing Director of the Canadian Institute of Steel structures.

“This applies not only to raw steel,” he says. "Foreign companies are shipping ready -made rental in Canada and we are concerns about its quality and durability."

According to Tarik Ali, buying cheap steel today in the long run will be more expensive.

“In North America, steel production and its processing must comply with rigid environmental standards and security standards,” says Ali, adding that metallurgical plants in other countries often work without any control.

"This is the second side of the issue of subsidies and dumping," said Tarik Ali.

The manufacturers in Canada already fully felt the decline in the market, which made them reduce production and jobs. The Canadian branch of US Steel generally decided to close production in connection with excess capacity.
