In April 2013, the export of steel products from Japan decreased by 11 percent compared to March and amounted to 3 million 640 thousand tons. At the same time, in an annual comparison, Japanese metallurgical companies increased shipments by 18 percent of the country.
In April of this year, the export of steel semi -finished products from the rising sun was 521 thousand 319 tons, which is 56 percent more than last year.
Import of steel products in Japan in April amounted to 629 thousand 352 tons, which is 0.8 percent below last year and 10 percent higher than March 2013.
