The largest metallurgical company of Germany THYSSENKRUpp opens new production in Asia and, in particular in China, considering this region the most dynamically developing economy. The planned investments in the construction of five new enterprises in China will amount to about $ 400 million this year.
The main THYSSENKRUPP rate is made on the development of Asian automotive industry, orienting the new metallurgical plants on the production of metal products for automotive industry. The German company announced an increase in the number of their personnel employed in new industries in China by 15 thousand people and about an increase in production by 50 percent.
"Asia today is the best region of presence," says the executive director of the company Henry Haysinger, emphasizing that the economic growth of this region is far ahead of the growth rate in developed economies.
“If we intend to develop as a company, we must primarily build up our capabilities in Asia,” Haisinger said in an interview for Wall Street Journal.
Meanwhile, as experts note, in this way, the German steel company Thyssenkrupp seeks to restore its shake -up reputation as an investor in foreign assets after a very unsuccessful experience in the United States and Brazil.
