In June 2013, the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant intends to increase values of reinforcement by 30 percent. The company expects to increase the shipment of construction metal rolling to 50 - 51 thousand tons.
As reported in January - May 2013, the Cherepovets accicron shipped to consumers 162 thousand tons of reinforcing steel, which is 36 percent more than in the same period last year. At the same time, the price of the reinforcement has increased by two percent over the past three months.
The price for the rest of the metal production of Chermk remained unchanged with the exception of galvanizing, which also went up by 2 percent.
The Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant is one of the largest steel manufacturers in the Russian Federation and is part of the Severstal Russian Steel group. 82.37 percent of the shares of the enterprise belongs to the general director of the Severstal group Alexei Mordashov.
