The shares of Russian companies Evraz and Polymetal were excluded from the index of the London Stock Exchange FTSE 100

According to the results of an annual revision, the securities of Russian companies Evraz and Polymetal excluded FTSE 100 from the index of the London Stock Exchange, the exchange press center reports.

Against the backdrop of the fall in prices for steel and precious metals in the first quarter of this year, the Euras shares lost about 50 percent of the cost, and the securities of polymetall fell by 30 percent.

Meanwhile, both companies were at one time the first Russian papers of the papers of the obligations of which were included in 2011 in the FTSE 100 index.

Today, their place was taken by Persimmon construction and building materials manufacturer Travis Perkins, the capitalization of which increased in the first quarter by 24 percent and 14 percent, respectively.

Changes come into force on June 24. The capitalization of companies was assessed on the basis of indicators recorded by the end of the auction on June 11.
