The memorandum for people working in the State Medical Code of Ukraine will be signed in the very near future

Меморандум для людей, работающих в ГМК Украины, будет подписан в самое ближайшее время
All procedures for coordinating the memorandum between the government and enterprises of the Mining and Metallurgical Complex have been passed, and the document will be signed in the near future. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Boyko, reports the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

“The government, first of all, supports people who work at these enterprises and the cities where they are located ... If the enterprise is stopped, then tens of thousands of people will be left without work. We look at this from the point of view of preserving jobs, increasing their number and social payments. Therefore, this memorandum for the country is extremely important, ”said Yuri Boyko.

Hard competition in the global economy, according to Deputy Prime Minister, obliges the government to provide assistance to metallurgy as a “locomotive of the domestic economy”.

The memorandum provides for the reciprocity in the relations between the GMC and the government, Boyko emphasized: “The government undertakes to return VAT on the export -oriented industry in a timely manner, to restrain the growth of tariffs for energy and transportation - no more than 5 percent for the duration of the memorandum. Metallurgists undertake to save jobs, pay all social payments and increase prey. ”

Recall that the production of steel in Ukraine over the past year decreased by 7 percent, and during independence almost doubles. This year, the drop in the volume of production of metal products continued and as analysts note in connection with the ongoing stagnation in foreign markets, on which Ukrainian metallurgy completely depends, and will continue further.
