Until 2017, the unemployed in Mariupol can become another 10 thousand more. This was stated at the next session of the Mariupol City Council as part of the discussion of the employment program until 2017.
The director of the city employment Center Yuri Chuprin informed the Mariupol deputies that over the past 10 years in the city as a result of optimizing the number in industrial enterprises by 40 thousand, the number of jobs has declined.
"The question is very serious, the reduction of jobs at industrial enterprises forces the Mariupol residents to leave our city. It is urgent to develop serious measures. Today, 20 percent of able -bodied citizens left Mariupol," said Svetlana Malikova, deputy of the City Council.
“If people do not find a job in the city, they will leave,” Yuri Hotlubei agreed with her.
The session of the City Council refused to accept the employment program until 2017, despite the fact that according to Yuri Chuprin at the level of the region, it has already been approved. The deputies decided to send the program for revision by expressing a protest against reducing the number of personnel at the industrial and industrial enterprises of Mariupol.
