The production of finished metal rolling by Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises in May 2013 amounted to 1 million 483 thousand tons, which is 6.3 percent less than a month earlier. This is shown by the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Production steel without semi -finished products obtained by continuous casting in an annual comparison decreased by 9 percent and amounted to 1 million 299 thousand tons for May 1 million, while from the beginning of the year in the first five months the smelting of steel has decreased by 5.4 percent - to 6 million 712 thousand tons.
The release of steel semi -finished products obtained by continuous casting method decreased in May of this year by 4.7 percent compared to April - to 1 million 512 thousand tons.
Cast iron smelting for May also decreased to 2 million 414 thousand tons, which is 2.9 percent less than April of the month.
