According to information received from the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Eduard Satvitsky, the Cabinet of Ministers appealed to the decision of the Kyiv Administrative District Court to recognize illegal quotas for the import of coking coal. This was reported today by "Ukrainian News."
“As far as I know, the Cabinet's lawyers have appealed on this issue,” the Ukrainian news agency quoted a senior official.
According to Stavitsky, the introduction of quotas allowed the national manufacturer, namely state enterprises, to reach a normal, stable financial regime. After entering the quotas, the internal implementation of coking coal began to grow, the minister added.
As reported, on June 10, 2013, the District Administrative Court of Kyiv issued a decision on the discrepancy between the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 225 of March 13, 2013 "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of December 19, 2012 No. 10" (on coal quotas) to the current legislation and adopted in violation of the regulations.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine established a quota for importing coal in 2013 by a volume of 10 million 200 thousand tons.
The Government of Ukraine intends to regain the legality of illegal quotas for the import of Koks
