During the investigation on the execution of Ukrainian citizens in Pakistan, all the leaders of the Gilgit-Baltistan region were removed from office

In Pakistan, during the investigation in the case of an execution in Gilgit-Baltistan, Ukrainian and Russian tourists were removed from the posts of the general inspector of the police and the chief secretary of the region. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Chowdry Nisar Ali Khan, speaking to the deputies of the lower house of parliament.

“The terrorists who attacked foreign tourists were dressed in the uniform of military personnel of the border troops, which actually prevented the attack,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Pakistan.

He also announced the need to conduct a thorough investigation of the incident as soon as possible.

Nisar Ali Khan expressed the conviction that the tragedy occurred due to improper performance of his official duties by the heads of security agencies of the Gilgit-Baltistan province.

Today, the police and the special services of Pakistan interrogate the guide, which, perhaps, provided the terrorists with information about foreign climbers, who were subsequently killed.

Recall that in the north of Pakistan in the Gilgit-Baltistan area on the night of June 23, unknown people shot at least nine tourists, among whom were Ukrainian citizens.
