ACCURIDE expands production capacities for the production of powder coating in Henderson, Kentukki

The ACCURIDE Corporation announced that it invests 5.8 million US dollars to expand its production capacities for the production of powder coating, installing a new coating line at a steel plant in Henderson, Kentucky.

The enterprise will create a set of treatment facilities that will ensure compliance with environmental standards thanks to the introduction of modern pumping stations and vacuum hoses in order to create waste resources.

Updating the appliance technology stabilizes the current level of employment at the factory, where it is expected to open 30 new jobs, as well as the North American cargo transportation industry will acquire a new impetus over the next few years.

The ACCURIDE Corporation Plant in Henderson was created in 1974 as part of Firestone Steel Products, the predecessor of the Accuride Corporation. The factory is occupied by about 160 employees who control 364 square feet of the production center located on 118 lands of land in Henderson. ACCURIDE plans to modernize its activities with the installation of a new, advanced line of coating technology, which will expand its powder capacity.
