In the first five months, first in 2013, Ukrainian metallurgical companies reduced export revenues from the sale of ferrous metals to 6 billion 155 million dollars, which is 12.5 percent less than the APPG-2012. This is stated in the materials of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
At the same time, the costs of imports of metal rolling decreased by 9.7 percent - to 889 million 134 thousand dollars, compared with 984 million, 195 thousand dollars in the APPG -2012.
As you know, in 2012, Ukraine lost 17 percent of the revenue from the export of metal rolling, earned $ 300 million in ferrous metals trade, also reducing import costs by 17.2 percent - $ 299 million.
Recall that the share of income from the export of ferrous metals in 2012 amounted to 22.32 percent in the total income from export of goods from Ukraine. According to the results of 2011, the share of ferrous metals exports in value terms amounted to 27.04 percent.
