In June 2013, South Mining and Processing Plant OJSC increased the production of iron ore concentrate compared to the last month by 1.2 percent-up to 880 thousand tons, which in turn is more than 1.9 percent compared to APPG-2012. This was reported by the press service of Yugok.
The production of agglomerate decreased by a month by 23.5 percent - to 136 thousand tons, and in an annual comparison, a drop in production reached 25.8%.
Meanwhile, for six months, from January to June 2013, the volume of concentrate production remained at the level of last year - 5 million 208 thousand tons, and the release of the agglomerate grew by 14.7 percent - to 1 million 241 thousand tons.
