A new Russian -Ukrainian joint enterprise Kirov - Kryukov has been created in the carriage market.

Representatives of the Ukrainian PJSC “Kryukovsky Wagon -Building Plant” and the Russian Kirovsky Plant OJSC signed an agreement on the creation of a joint venture that will produce railway trains and wagons, trams, escalators and containers for transporting bulk goods. The creation of the joint venture is planned to be completed until October 2013.

The aim of the unification is to strengthen the positions of enterprises in the markets in the carriage market of Ukraine, Russia and the CIS countries, as well as the creation of high -tech products using the experience and development of two companies.

The main production will be located in St. Petersburg in the squares of the Kirov plant since December 2013. For these purposes, new production capacities will create on the territory of a separate workshop. It is planned to produce 100 metro wagons, 50 trains wagons annually.

The cost of investment this year will be 120 million rubles. By the end of 2015, it is planned to send an additional 750 million rubles to the development of production.

PJSC "Kryukovsky Carbonizing Plant" is located in the Poltava region and is the main manufacturer and supplier of passenger wagons in Ukraine.
