In accordance with the data of the Japanese Ministry of Finance, the export of a flat metal distribution from this country in May 2013 amounted to 1 million 290 thousand tons, which is 3.8 percent more than in the previous month and 3.5 percent more than in the APPG-2012.
In the first five months since the beginning of 2013, the export of sheet steel from Japan amounted to 6 million 600 thousand tons, which is 18.6 percent higher than last year.
The main buyer of Japanese steel was South Korea, which was importing 1 million 500 thousand tons of flat rental, which, however, is 10.3 percent less than in the APPG-2012. Thailand took the second place in which 727 thousand 493 tons of Japanese sheet steel arrived, which is also 3.3 percent less than in APPG-2012. In third place in the consumption of Japanese steel production is China, which increased imports from this country by 8.2 percent - to 627 thousand 345 tons compared to January 2012.
