Representatives of the space departments of Ukraine, the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan will implement a project by Baiterek

In Yevpatoria (Ukraine), a meeting of the heads of space agencies of Ukraine, the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan on the creation of the Baiterek project based on the operation of the Zenit carrier - the Zenit carrier was held. In addition, delegations of space organizations, Azerbaijan, Belarus, the Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, scientific and design institutions in the field of space research and the CIS Executive Committee participated in the meeting.

According to the results of the meeting, representatives of delegations signed a protocol, which reflect the prospects for the implementation of the project and the interaction of the parties from the production of missile carriers to launch services at the Baikonur cosmodrome. The discussion was caused by the question where buy a CNC milling machine and other high -tech equipment for a new project. The solution to this and other technical issues has so far been postponed.

The meeting participants examined the issues of the possibility and advisability of translating the Baiterek project "Angara" (Russia) to the Ukrainian Zenit RN, the application of which will help Ukraine in strengthening the positions in the market for rocket science and the development of international relations with Kazakhstan and Russia in the field of space research.

The meeting also discussed issues of the contractual and legal basis for cooperation between participants in the agreement, the problems of integration of infrastructures, standardization of space equipment and others. In addition, issues were considered on the accession to the International Cosmos and Large Disaster Charter.

In the near future, the State Space Agency of Ukraine will be formed and sent to Roscosmos and Kazosmos for specific conditions and mechanisms of cooperation between enterprises and organizations for each stage of the project.

A meeting of representatives of the CIS space agencies will be held in Moscow in 2014.
