According to the data provided by the Turkish Institute of Statistics, in May 2013, the import of flat rolling, including the supply of hot-rolled, cold-rolled rolls and galvanizing, decreased by 9.5 percent compared to APPG-2012 and decreased by 20.5 percent compared to April 2013 to 457 thousand tons.
In monetary terms, export exports import steel imports to Turkey for a month amounted to $ 317 million, decreasing by 16.1 percent in an annual comparison and 16.1 percent compared to the previous month.
In the first five months of this year, the import of flat rental in Turkey amounted to 2 million 560 thousand tons, which is 29.1 percent more than in the APPG-2012. At the same time, the main importer was the Russian Federation by the time -increasing sales of leaf steel to Turkey and overtook the previous leader of the supply - Ukraine.
