According to the preliminary report of the Argentine steel chamber, the production of steel in this country in June 2013 amounted to 416 thousand 500 tons, which is 7.2 percent lower than the previous month and 7.7 percent less than in the APPG-2012.
Officials also said that the output of the finished metal rolling was 437 thousand 200 tons, which is 2.8 percent lower than in the previous month and 4.7 percent less than the APPG-2012 indicator.
However, the total production of metal products in the first half of the year remains 2.2 percent higher than last year and amounts to 2 million 539 thousand tons.
