According to the data provided by the Brazilian Institute of Cast iron, the production of steel in this country in June was reduced by 1.8 percent compared to the last month and amounted to 2 million 260 thousand tons. This reduction was the first in 2013.
Meanwhile, in general, for the first half of the year, steel production in Brazil increased by 1 percent and amounted to 12 million 930 thousand tons.
