CISA analyzed steel prices in China

The Chinese Metallurgical Association (CISA) provided a consolidated price for steel prices in the domestic market of China as of the end of June 2013. As a result, all prices for the main products became in the Chinese domestic market decreased compared to the end of May of this year.

In particular, on June 30, compared to May 31, the prices for rollery, reinforcement and a steel corner fell down on average by $ 25.5 per ton. At the same time, prices decreased on a steel sheet of -17.3 dollars per ton, a hot rolled roll - 11.7 dollars per ton, a cold -rolled sheet - $ 24.5 per ton and a galvanized steel sheet - $ 17.5 per ton, and the prices for seamless pipes decreased by $ 12.5 per ton.

As of June 30, the volume of finished rental in the main Chinese markets of steel reached 15.46 million tons, decreasing by 6.66 percent compared to the end of May and by 0.52 percent in annual calculus.

In June, iron ore in China was imported at a price at the level of $ 126.8 per ton, which is 4.5 percent lower than the previous month, and the decline has been observed for the third month in a row. Prices for iron ore concentrate, metallurgical coke and scrap from Chinese suppliers decreased by $ 4.7 per ton, $ 11.8 per ton and 6.2 dollars per ton, respectively, in June compared to the last month.
