In June 2013, the production of cast iron around the world increased by an average of 2.86 percent compared to the last month and amounted to 96 million 63 thousand tons. This is reported today by the World Cast iron manufacturers and became World Steel Association (WorldSteel).
The top-ten countries of the manufacturers of cast iron in June 2013 in the world are as follows:
1. China - 58 million 340 thousand tons;
2. Japan - 6 million 886 thousand tons;
3. India - 4 million 100 thousand tons;
4. Russia - 4 million 067 thousand tons;
5. South Korea - 3 million 336 thousand tons;
6. USA - 2 million 555 thousand tons;
7. Ukraine - 2 million 384 thousand tons;
8. Germany - 2 million 330 thousand tons;
9. Brazil - 2 million 126 thousand tons;
10. Taiwan - 1 million 220 thousand tons.
