The Government of Ukraine will create a system of state support for export industries

According to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine today, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the concept of creating a system of state support for the export of Ukraine at its meeting. This resolution was adopted on August 1, 2013.

According to the authors, the concept should create an effective integrated state support system in Ukraine and as the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Igor Prasolov said, will contribute to the successful integration of the domestic economy into the global economic space.

“The implementation of the concept will resolve important issues in the field of export activity through the formation of a set of measures of state stimulation of exporters, the implementation of which will create favorable economic, legal, organizational conditions for expanding export,” Igor Prasolov emphasized.

The concept will be aimed at optimizing the product structure, at an increase in the share of products with high added value, as well as diversification of traditional sales markets for Ukrainian exports.

Now, after the concept was approved by members of the government, Prasolov’s department will begin to develop a plan for its implementation. Anticipating the positive decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the head of the Ministry of Economic Development on July 23 met with representatives of the Italian export credit agency SACE. The meeting discussed the experience of institutions for export support and possible ways of cooperation with the Italian side.
