Kyiv: shaped rental and hot -rolled sheet went up

In the warehouse market of Kyiv in early August, the quotes of reinforcement are preserved. So, most merchants continue to adhere to the minimum price level - 5800 UAH/T (parties from 5 tons).

Despite the fact that the demand of the final buyers remains moderate, more and more companies are reporting to reduce warehouses of rental reserves. Moreover, in the market we will notice a shortage of large -section reinforcement and, according to the rolling schedules of enterprises, new receipts are expected closer to mid -August. At the same time, the lack of other positions of the reinforcement in the coming week will be leveled by new revenues from the factories.

It should be noted that if at the end of July individual traders voiced 12-32 mm rental offers from Krivoy Rog at 5550-5600 UAH/t, then in early August such discounts are practically not found on the market.

At present, the market participants have no unequivocal understanding of the August prices of factories for reinforcement. Some players do not exclude the possibility of raising prices. At the same time, the volumes of internal shipments with AMKR in July decreased by almost 2 times, and it is likely that the plant will strive to increase the supply of rental to dealers, including through loyal pricing policy.

In the segment of shaped rental, by the end of the week, pointed growth of minimum warehouse quotations was recorded, which became a reaction to a change in manufacturers (Metinvest-SMC, UMMC, DMZ named after Petrovsky).

In addition, individual traders increased the prices of a corner of 25-50 mm by 100-150 UAH/t, referring to its shortage in the market. At the same time, the dealers of the AMKR corner with a shelf of up to 50 mm are offered at the previous prices. In addition, in the near future, the deficiency of the small -grade corner can be lowered by the flow of imported rental. In this case, the increase in warehouse quotes can be short -term.

In general, the demand in the segment is relatively high, but more concentrated in the positions of renting small and medium varieties.

The uncovered flat rental also rose. In particular, the minimum prices for a hot-rolled sheet of 5-50 mm increased by 180-230 UAH/t, in accordance with the increase in manufacturers' prices. The hot-rolled sheet is 2-4 mm and the entire line of cold rolled rental is offered in the warehouses of merchants at the previous prices. The demand for hot -rolled rental by the end of the week has slightly decreased, which, according to traders, is due to the price changes that occurred. In the coming week, market participants do not see the prerequisites for further correction of warehouse quotes.
