Today it became known that the plan to turn the production of thick sheet at the Palini & Bertoli metallurgical plant in the city of San Jordo-Di-Nogaro (Italy) was finally implemented.
The direct consequences of the embodiment of this plan were the price of sheet steel tons increased to 500 euros after 420 - 440 euros per ton a few days earlier.
However, at present, buyers have not accepted such a rise in price mainly due to the vacation season, which will end at the end of August.
