The world-famous enterprise, the leader in the production of aluminum, OK Rusal acquired the BTEC (theological TPP), which previously belonged to CES Holding. This expensive acquisition will enable the enterprise to establish a stable production of clay on the basis (Theological Aluminum Plant), which is located in Krasnoturinsk.
Thanks to the purchase of the Rusal station, I got the opportunity to significantly reduce costs in the release of clay and at the same time increase product quality. It is important that, at the same time, the production of clay in Krasnoturilsk will completely save all jobs.
The installed generated capacity on theological TEC is at the level of 135.5 MW, which more than satisfies the needs of production. The station will be part of the rosal clay sector and will become one of the components of the entire production complex.
“Buying an BTEC is a great opportunity to significantly increase energy efficiency and reduce production costs at the base. The formation of TEC of one of the parts in a unified complex of production creates new prospects in the development of the largest enterprise in the Russian Federation for the production of alumina, - it is such a view of the deal that Vladislav Solovyov, the First Deputy General Director of Rusal, has.
“The sale of an BTEC is a really successful result of negotiations between companies. This station will be able to provide all the needs of the base in electricity for a long time. The sale of theological TPP is the best solution that takes into account both the interests of Rusal and the holding CAS, ”said Boris Weinzyer, CEO of CJSC CJSC.
