According to the data provided by the Turkish Institute of Statistics in the first half of this year, the Turkish export of reinforcement amounted to 514 thousand 405 tons by demonstrating a fall by 15.8 percent with respect to the APPG-2012. At the same time, reinforcement from reinforcing exports decreased by 21.9 percent.
In the second quarter of 2013, Türkiye exported 217 thousand 847 tons of Katanka, which is 26.8 percent lower than the previous quarter and 30.9 percent less than in the APPG-2012. The above numbers have become the poor result of Turkish metallurgists over the past four years.
In June, the average price of Turkish exports of Katanka was $ 595 per ton compared to $ 648 in June 2012.
Turkish exports of the Katanka to the regions of the Middle East amounted to 59 thousand 020 tons in the second quarter, remaining approximately 60 thousand tons in the fourth quarter of 2012 and 28.5 percent less than in the APPG-2012.
