Annunciation reinforcing plant holds an investment program

The Blagoveshchensk reinforcing plant, acquired in 2013 by the United Metallurgical Company, takes place the process of integration into the production of the association. The factory continues the implementation of the investment program, in accordance with which modern equipment is commissioned to improve the capabilities of enterprises for processing large valve parts.

In addition, a new stand was installed at the factory for the testing of safety valves, which allows not only to check the safety valves with a pneumatic method, as it was before, but also to carry out hydraulic tests at the working pressure of up to 40 MPa. The advantage of the stand is that the equipment allows you to smoothly raise pressure and provides high accuracy of testing results.

Also, the factory equipment park for processing large parts of the reinforcement was replenished with new vertical turning and milling centers with CNC from the DOOSAN with an additional function for processing discs and flanges. It was decided by buy sandblast for processing the surfaces of blanks. Compared to universal equipment, the centers provide a more accurate and quick processing of parts, without additional time expenses for and rearranging parts of the machine, and also makes it possible to perform turning and milling work. The equipment is planned to be commissioned in late August.
