POSCO launches innovative steel grade

POSCO launched Innovilt, an integrated structural steel grade that combines innovation, value and quality, embodying sustainable and forward-looking structural steel technologies widely used in the construction industry. POSCO said it decided to create an integrated brand so that construction professionals and end users can easily recognize and select materials for POSCO structural steel.

Under the slogan Build the Next, Let's INNOVILT, POSCO has vowed to improve the reliability of its steel products by achieving joint growth with its client companies. POSCO said it will select Innovilt products based on its complex technical judgment and competitiveness among the company's structural steel materials.

Some of POSCO's high-performance steels include HSA650, POSCO's PosMAC magnesium alloy coating and POSCO's advanced PosArt printing technology. HSA650 - earthquake resistant steel for construction. It is durable, flexible and has high welding capabilities. PosMAC is 5-10 times more corrosion resistant than standard steel. And PosArt allows you to print high definition designs up to four times the resolution of a conventional steel printer. It uses environmentally friendly steel ink and can add dimensions to steel plates, making them look like 3D materials.
