According to the Customs of the Russian Federation, in 2020 Russia imported about 5.2 million tons of steel products, which is 27.6% less than in the previous year.
In December, imports of ferrous metal products amounted to about 400,000 tons, compared with 330,000 tons in November. Also, imports of steel pipes fell 57.8% year on year to nearly 430,000 tons.
In addition, Russia exported about 400 thousand tons, which is 1.7% less than in 2019.
