Exports of rolled metal products increased by 80% in Ukraine

For 11 months of this year, enterprises of the metallurgical industry of Ukraine increased revenues from the export of ferrous metals by 80.8% compared to the same period last year - up to $ 12.6 billion.

According to updated statistics released by the State Customs Service of Ukraine on Friday, ferrous metals accounted for 20.59% of the total revenues from the export of metal products for 11 months from the beginning of the year against 15.73% for the same period last year. In November, earnings from the export of ferrous metals amounted to $ 1.9 billion.

Since the beginning of 2021, Ukraine has increased the export of metal products by 42.1% - up to $ 1.2 billion. In November, such exports amounted to $ 128.7 million.

As reported, metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine in 2020 reduced revenues from the export of ferrous metals by 12% compared to the previous year - to $ 7.7 billion. In addition, Ukraine in 2020 reduced the export of metal products by 13.2% - to 0.9 billion dollars.
