Metinvest CEO Yuriy Ryzhenkov said that Metinvest will continue to develop coking coal production at the Pokrovsky coal mine in the Donetsk region and the Svyato-Varvarinskaya concentrator.
He also said that demand for coal will continue into the next decade. It may be too early to worry about clean tech and green steel. However, he believed that the transition would be inevitable, but it would take time.
