The U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced a positive final decision on countervailing duty (CVD) measures on steel nails originating in India, Oman, Sri Lanka and Turkey, and a negative final decision on a CVD order for the same products from Thailand.
The subsidy rate for India has been set to range from 2.73% to 2.93%, for Oman at 2.49%, for Sri Lanka at 4.12%, and for Turkey a SHA rate of 1.52 will apply. % to 3.88%. Thailand Companies Come Best (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Jinhai Hardware Co., Ltd. received the minimum subsidy rate.
The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) was due to make a final decision on the case on September 29, 2022.
