In the law company Baker and Mackenzi, representing the interests of Arselormital Krivoy Rog, in Ukraine expressed concern about the resuscitation of the trial of an eight -year ago regarding the peculiarities of the privatization of crooked -road and studying all the legal consequences of this issue. “We study our legal position, all the legal consequences that may take place if the IC wins this lawsuit against the FGIU,” said Sergey Piontkovsky, a partner of Baker and McCenzi International Law Company.
According to a lawyer, in the case of a “investment-metallurgical union” (IC) decision of the Kyiv Economic Court for a positive investment-metallurgical consortium, the Kyiv Court of Economics regarding the recognition of the State Property Fund of Ukraine “Krivorozhstal” will not return to the property of the IMS, but later, if other trials are launched, this process will serve as a newly revealed circumstance for the resuscitation of others that were at the time of the time Losted by IMS.
According to Arselormittal Krivoy Rog itself, the metallurgical company is not a side of the process and does not take part in the proceedings, however, “if necessary, we are ready to resist attempts to question our ownership of the enterprise,” the enterprise emphasized.
Recall that the Kyiv economic court began the consideration of the lawsuit filed by the Consortium, the founders of which are the SKM Rinat Akhmetov and the Interpipe Viktor Pinchuk, to the state property of Ukraine demanding to recognize order No. 289 of February 15, 2005 that laid the foundation for the so -called reprivatization of crooked -road.
In the SCM, they refuted their involvement in the resumption of the process of eight years ago: “SKM is not known for the reasons for the resumption of the City Court of the city investigation regarding the claim of the consortium“ Investment and metallurgical union ”(IMS) to the FGU on the recognition of the FGIU order and cancel the order,” the company’s statement said.
