The Russian carbonic sector reduced production indicators

In the first five months of 2013, the production of passenger cars decreased by more than 15 percent, compared with the corresponding period of 2012 and reached 291 wagons, according to the Federal State Statistics Service.

In May of this year, car construction reduced 9 percent indicators compared to the same month of 2012, but increased by 7.8 percent compared to April of this year. The main consumer of passenger carriage products was the federal passenger company, a subsidiary of OJSC Russian railways.

The main role in the Russian carriage construction is played by the Tver Carbon -Building Plant (TVZ), which is part of the group of Transmashholding CJSC. In the domestic market, its share is more than 90 percent. OJSC "TTZ" produces several types of passenger cars and the entire series of components.

The Federal Passenger Company (FPK) in 2013 could not achieve state subsidies in the right amount necessary to compensate for losses. Therefore, the company was forced to reduce the acquisition of new passenger cars and much more. This affected the indicators of car manufacturers. However, nevertheless, at the state level, this issue was revised, and the FPK was provided with additional subsidies in the amount of 10 billion rubles, which the General Director of the FPK Mikhail Akulov plans to partially spend on the purchase of passenger wagons from the Tver car -building plant in the amount of 3 billion rubles.
